Castor Oil (Conditioning)

Castor Oil is a thick, viscous oil that is extracted from the seeds of the castor bean plant. Castor oil moisturizes by acting as a humectant to attract and lock moisture to the skin. Its high concentration of fatty acids hydrates the skin to help remove dry patches and encourage new skin cell regeneration. The oil is soothing, lubricating in nature, and is readily absorbed by the skin. Castor oil is prized for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It contains ricinoleic acid which has amazing anti-inflammatory effects, making it useful for reducing pain and inflammation associated with conditions like arthritis, joint pain, and muscle soreness, making it a great massage oil.
